A person that I feel that partly it might admire is Sigmund Freud, and I say partly because the notion I have about him and all of his theory I think is little yet.  Freud was born on 6 May 1856 in Freiberg, Moravia, was an Austrian neurologist who developed psychoanalysis, a method through which an analyst unpacks unconscious conflicts based on the free associations, dreams and fantasies of the patient. His theories on child sexuality, libido and the ego, among other topics, were some of the most influential academic concepts. Five theories more important of Freud are The pleasure principle, The impulse, The repression, The unconscious and The Oedipus complex. I like him because I think his work supported the belief that not all mental illnesses have physiological causes and he also offered evidence that cultural differences have an impact on psychology and behavior. His work contributed to our understanding of personality, clinical psychology, human development, and abnormal psychology.

    Hi! I think Freud is really cool, I like some of his theories and his perspective in psychology :-)

    I think that Freud is interesting too, but I don't know if I want to learn more about him in the future years of the career, maybe the time will say what I will do.

Post 2: Why did your choose this career/study programme?

When I was a kid, like all the chilidren, I had not conscience about my life choices and "the future", so I wanted be a teacher in a school, currently this career doesn't match with my life plan. Unlike of majority of persons, my choice of study psychology was undertaken since long ago, I dont remember the exact moment, so the last year I knew exactly what I wanted, but others caree of my interest are law, philosophy, art, political science and others. I like soo much the environment of my university and career, the majority of persons are very nice and they have awareness about the different problems of our system and society, I like that. I don't know what job I want because I don't even know what psychology specialization I want.

Post 1: My auto biography

My name is Fernanda Olmedo and i was born on July 25th, 1999 in Puente Alto, Santiago, years passed and I moved with my family to Maipú, I dont remember the exact year because I was very young. I think as I grew up and I formed my own touchstone that the human mind is something that really passionate me and that's the reason cause currently I study psychology, I do in the Universidad de Chile, and it was one of my major achievements, my family was very happy for that too, this composed by my parents, Mario and Susana and my brothers, Mario of 13 years old and Daniela of 4 years old. I dont have a hobbie but I think that I should have it, I need to take note of it.

POST 9 >> SOME REFLECTIONS...

Although every year is different for me, I feel that this year was particular, maybe because I got in the university and I learned, I live and I experiment new things. The most good thing is, I think, that I psychologically grow up, I understand the things of the most mature way now and I feel that now I know more things than before or my ideas, rather, were reinforced, I think now understand better the world than before. Other good thing is that this year I knew many beautiful persons, the most of them in the university, people that make me laugh and make me think in other way. Some things that don't work very good maybe it can be university things, related with marks but that are part of the process of adaptation to university, so all fine. Other things maybe don’t work can be family things but they are things that we fix in a moment. The achievements that I had they connected with the good things I mentioned before, I learned more things, I reinforced my ideals, I knew new pers...
